Hopefully, you enjoyed Spring Break!
This week in Literature this week, we will begin Sam The Minuteman and relate this historical fiction to what we are learning about the American Revolution. The school will provide copies of this out-of-print book for your scholar. In Math, we will continue in Chapter 9, addition and subtraction skills for numbers up to 100. This week, we will focus on subtraction strategies for two-digit numbers with and without renaming and subtracting ones and tens from two-digit numbers.
In History, we will continue with our unit on the American Revolution, focusing on the role of Benjamin Franklin as a colonial leader.
