Dear Parents,
Happy Monday! We hope you had a fantastic Spring Break!
In Literature/Grammar, we will continue to learn about adverbs and send home our new poem Windy Nights. We will begin to read Sam the Minuteman.
Please send in the classic Selected Tales from Beatrix Potter as we will begin to read it Friday 3/15. If you don't have a copy of this classic to send with your student, please let your scholar's teacher know ASAP.
In Math, we will work on addition strategies with numbers to 100.
In History, the scholars will continue to relive the battles at Lexington and Concord that ultimately lead to the birth of our nation. We will cover great leaders of the American Revolution, such as Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams, and Paul Revere.
March 25 is the last day to order yearbooks!
