First Grade News

Dear Parents, 

Happy Monday!  We are in the home stretch of this school year!  

In Literature/Grammar we will be reading the classic  My Father's Dragon.  Please send this classic with your scholar ASAP if you haven't already.  

   In Math, we will begin learning how to collect data, using tallies and picture graphs. We will have a test on Tuesday finishing up unit 9. A study Guide will be coming home Monday. 

  

In History, we will continue the story of our nation as we expand westward into the frontier and wonder of the unknown.  We will discuss the important expedition of  Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery as we journey toward the Pacific Ocean.  

In Science, we will discover sound energy.
