Dear Parents,
We hope you had a wonderful weekend! We are looking forward to seeing you all, next Friday evening, at the Spring Music Concert.
As we are fast approaching the end of the school year, please keep a few things in mind when planning for vacation. The first is that at GHNO we continue instruction and learning until the very last day of school, May 29th. The second is that on Thursday, May 29th, we will have a cumulative math assessment as well as a final Spalding test. These tests will not be given early. Please plan to have your scholar present for these assessments. If you have any questions, please reach out to your scholar's teacher.
This week in Literature, we will continue to read My Father's Dragon.
In Math, we will continue Chapter 10 reviewing what we know about Tally Charts and Picture Graphs.
In History we will continue our unit on The Westward Expansion. Meeting Sacagawea, and many other friends along the way.
Please return library books by the start of this week, April 28th to allow our wonderful volunteers time to check inventory and organize the library before school is out. If you have by chance lost, or forgotten what book your student has checked out, have no fear, a notice for outstanding books will be sent out to remind you.
Thank you so much for your continued support and partnership. Have a wonderful week.
Go Griffins!
