Q4W3 3/30-4/3

 Dear Parents,

We hope you had a wonderful weekend!  We enjoyed seeing you and your family on Friday evening, for the GHNO Annual Art Show. It was wonderful! We are very excited for our final literature celebration this year on Thursday, April 16th.

Please send in the classic The Selected Tales of Beatrix Potter by 3/31.  If you were not able to purchase this classic, please let your scholar's teacher know.

In Math, we will continue learning how to subtract using renaming. Scholars will take a chapter test on next week

In Literature, we went over our newest poem, Windy Nights.  We will begin reading takes from Beatrix Potter on Tuesday.

In Science, we will begin our study of human body systems, covering the circulatory, skeletal, digestive, and respiratory systems this week.

Thursday we will have a poetry war against 5th Grade! This closes out our unit on the American Revolution as we (the colonists) fight against the British (5th grade). During afternoon recess, we will recite all the poems we have learned so far taking turns with 5th grade. Teachers will then announce the winner (the colonists). Please take time this week to practice all the poems, including windy nights wit your scholar. 🙂
