Dear Parents,
We hope you had a wonderful weekend! We are looking forward to seeing you all this Friday at the Spring Music Concert.
As we are fast approaching the end of the school year, please keep a few things in mind when planning for vacation. The first is that at GHNO we continue instruction and learning until the very last day of school, May 22nd. The second is that on Friday, May 22nd, we will have a cumulative math assessment as well as a final Spalding test. These tests will not be given early. Please plan to have your scholar present for these assessments. If you have any questions, please reach out to your scholar's teacher.
This week in Literature, we will continue to read My Father's Dragon.
In Math, we will begin Chapter 11, Shapes. We will learn about 2D and 3D shapes.
In History we will continue our unit on The Westward Expansion. Meeting Sacagawea, and many other friends along the way. We will take the unit assessment on 5/1.
